This event is not a registered NSCA, NSSA, or ATA shoot; however, we are utilizing NSCA classification guidelines across all events to provide collegiate recruiters with a structured way to assess athlete skill levels.
Providing an NSCA number during registration is optional but can assist in classification. Shooters without an NSCA number or registration will be placed in Hunter class for the event.
Please let us know if you have any questions!
To honor fairness and align with nationally‑recognized standards, the Texas All‑Stars High School Showcase is using the NSCA
Concurrent Classifications:
Junior (under 21 on Jan 1)
Sub‑Junior (under 16 on Jan 1)
Shooters stay in the same concurrent for the entire target year. Within each concurrent we will award 1st‑, 2nd‑, and 3rd‑place medals in every event—Sporting Clays, Skeet, Trap, and Super Sport.
The HOA champion, the HOA Ladies champion, and the separate overall champions of Sporting Clays, Skeet, Trap, Super Sport, will receive custom buckle trophies, with custom gun sleeves going to each runner‑up.
Adopting the NSCA system lets us recognize talent by age while keeping the playing field consistent and transparent—an approach we believe best serves every athlete’s hard‑earned effort.
